The PENTITI / HDPE split 7" EP launches the collective CCP Records with two underground powers: Milano punk agitators, Pentiti and Sydney “anti-hardcore” crew HDPE. Both bands let out their grievances with the global state of play, with I Pentiti taking on the European Union and the hegemonic centers of international punk, and HDPE turning their attention to picket lines and taking matters into their own hands. While their sounds differ, their songwriting is united via a postmodernist satirical turn and a general lack of respect for the powers that be.
