Hate is the highly anticipated second full-length album from Brazilian Black/Death Metal pioneers, Sarc¢fago. Released in 1992, this LP marked a major stylistic shift for the band, replacing the raw chaos of I.N.R.I. with a sound that was more structured, intensely fast, and technically focused, utilizing a programmed drum machine. The result is a mechanical, punishing assault of relentless Death Metal and Thrash, defined by precise riffing and a cold, unforgiving atmosphere. Hate is a pivotal, if controversial, release that showcased Sarc¢fago's willingness to experiment and intensify their sound into the 90s.
